Rod Snyder

Located in Paoli, PA these days, I first started taking pictures in the early 1990’s with my Dad’s old Minolta X-700, and an old Pentax K-1000.  I outgrew these and soon bought my own first camera, a Nikon FM2.  In the early 2000’s, I was finally able to fuse my 2 passions in life together; music and photography.  Since 2006, I’ve been shooting concerts and multi-day festivals all over the United States and even covered a couple days at the 2017 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. I haven’t looked back since

Music is my first love of photography, but as you can see, I enjoy photographing many different subjects. My main body of work is digital, but I still enjoy shooting with my many film cameras.

My work has been published in Billboard, Rolling Stone, Premier Guitar, Relix magazine and other print magazines. I also have several pages and back cover of a book titled “My Soul’s Been Psychadelicized: The Electric Factory-Four Decades in Posters and Photographs”

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
